Hey y’all! Happy Sunday night! I am so sorry about such a long break between posting but I really needed to take this Thanksgiving weekend to regroup and get my heart back in the right place. I may post a little more on that later this week, but for now, I want to share a bunch of photos from Thanksgiving and a few from getting our tree, celebrating Thanksgiving, and decorating!
Thanksgiving was spent at my parents house with our family, my parents and siblings, and a close family friend of ours! We ate lots of food, enjoyed each other’s company, and had a nice long day. My sister, who is away at college, came home as well and it was wonderful to see her! We miss our auntie so much.
(I love this photo of us so much, so much personality. If only Bug wasn’t in a terrible mood and he had smiled…or even looked! But for us, this is an amazing picture!)
Friday night I went to Target. I wasn’t very excited with the deals, but to be honest, I only go out for the reason that the clothes are on sale…and sometimes I grab a cute pair of shoes here and there. Doodle mentioned that her mom used to get them each a small Christmas tree for their rooms, and while I can’t get her a real one for fear Beju(the cat) will eat it, we got her a small fake one so she can still celebrate like that.
Saturday we celebrated Small Business Saturday and I got a few things! I, of course, went to visit Eagle Street Artisans! I didn’t get anything on my Christmas gift list from them, but I did grab a present…and I grabbed myself some activated charcoal soap from She’s a Crafty Lil Thing. I also ordered an adorable shirt from Mom After God’s Own Heart…SO EXCITED for it!
Sunday was church day and afterwards we went to get our tree from Pop Cares! I love Christmas, so we spent a lot of time decorating while listenin to my totally awesome Christmas play list! If I do say so myself, it’s one of the best playlists ever. Maybe not the best, but it is pretty great. My papa raised us right, so there’s a bunch of oldies, but goodies on our Christmas list! Dean Martin? Elvis Presley? Both are totally our jams for the holiday season! Want to check out our playlist? Right here!
How was your Thanksgiving weekend?
